Register Through Student Planning
To access Student Planning, log in to CNC Connect and then select Student Planning under the Registration menu.
In Student Planning, your first step is to make a plan for your entire program of studies. Then every term/year, you will create a schedule (timetable) and register for your courses on or after your assigned registration date/time. Along the way, Student Planning will track your progress in fulfilling your program requirements.
Ready To Register?
CNC sets priority registration based on a student’s program, their accumulated credit hours, as well as their academic standing. You will receive an email with your priority date. When you are ready to register at your appointed registration time, login to your account and choose your courses.
Frequently Asked Questions
Priority registration provides the opportunity for new and continuing students to register for the upcoming academic year in advance of others. The registration priorities are based on a student's program, accumulated credit hours and academic standing.
Your specific priority registration date and time are available on CNC Connect. You can access this information by logging into your CNC Connect account and clicking on "When can I register?"
We highly encourage students to take advantage of their assigned priority registration date/time.
It’s important to determine whether your courses will be all online or if they have an in-person lab or workshop.
Please check the course catalogue for course offerings and whether they will be delivered online or in-person.
Courses can be planned over multiple terms and years; the sections for the course, which are the date and time the course will be offered, are usually only available for the current and immediately upcoming terms. In order to register for courses that have been planned, you first need to plan the section you want to register for. Planning a course does not guarantee the course will be offered in the term you planned it.
The Plan & Schedule tab is where you schedule your course sections and register, waitlist, and drop courses/sections.
