CNC offers more than 70 programs in health sciences, trades and technologies, social services, business and university studies and is an integral part of what makes CNC a great place to learn.

Applying online

Applications may be made online through Education Planner BC. To get started, visit the “How to Apply” page and click on “Apply Now”. It will walk you through the online application process step by step.

Applying in-person

You can apply in-person at any one of our campuses using our paper application form. 

Please make sure you also send in your transcripts once an application has been submitted. You can see the “Sending a transcript to CNC” page for more information.

Applications are open September 15th to March 31st for most programs. Although it is past the application deadline, some programs may still have seats available; in which case, you can still apply. Speak to a Future Student Advisor to learn more. You can contact them at futurestudent@cnc.bc.ca or call 250-561-5855.

The cost of each program varies slightly from year to year. Please consult the latest fee schedule by visiting the CNC Admissions webpage. The Fee Schedule is located here. For further information, contact the Office of the Registrar at 250-562-2131.

Student loans are applied for online through StudentAid BC. If you require support or help with the loan application process, please call Financial Aid 250-561-5838 or email finaid@cnc.bc.ca. Aboriginal students can contact an Aboriginal Student Advisor at 250-561-2131 ext. 5488 for assistance with band funding.

CNC houses the Aboriginal Resource Centre (ARC), which is on the traditional unceded territory of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation. We acknowledge their graciousness for welcoming knowledge-seekers to their territory. There are cultural advisors, Aboriginal academic advisors, a Future Student Aboriginal Advisor, and liaisons available to provide information and support before and after you become a CNC student and will help you achieve your educational goals. CNC strives to be inclusive and equitable, embrace diversity and foster respectful relationships, and provide culturally safe services and facilities to Aboriginal students and communities. The Aboriginal Resource Centre (ARC) can be reached at 250-562-2131 ext. 5488.

If you are attending school on a Regional Campus, please contact the Academic Advisor at your campus.

Testing & Tutoring Services (TTS) is open all year to provide students with free tutoring services as well as testing services for CNC students and students that wish to write exams from other institutions.

Our Wellness Coach can include working on stress, time management and coping skills. The Wellness Coach can also provide students with support and information related to CNC policies and procedures. You can book an appointment with our Wellness Coach by phoning 250-561-5818. If you do not have a family doctor, or if you require non-urgent care, our nurse practitioner or doctor is available to see you in our Health and Wellness Centre. A mental health counsellor is also available for appointments from Monday to Friday. CNC’s Health and Wellness webpage has information on all of the resources available to students.

CNC Housing provides affordable and centrally located community living close to shopping, transportation, recreational facilities, and forest trails. We also have a new Aboriginal House opening later this year.

You first need to have applied and been accepted into a specific program before being permitted to register. Information on application fees, requirements, fees, and deadlines can be found on the Application Information page. Once accepted, you can then register for classes within that program by logging into your CNC Connect. Instructions on how to search/add/drop classes can be found here. 

You will need to log into your CNC Connect account in order to find your student-specific Registration Priority Date. On the student menu, find the Academic Profile heading, and click on ‘When can I Register?’.

Please note that Future Student Services is not able to do appointments with prospective International students.
