Moving In
Fall and spring check-in dates vary slightly from year to year. Make sure to arrive at the correct check-in time. If your program starts outside of regular academic dates, make sure to arrive during office hours. All fees must be paid prior to checking in.
Checking In
Upon check-in, you will go over your License Agreement with a Housing team member before being granted access to your room. This process usually takes around 30 minutes to complete.
Keys
The keys and swipe cards provided to you are high-security items. Do not copy, duplicate, or loan these items out. Lost or stolen keys must be reported immediately to the Housing Office.
Room Checklist
Upon moving in, you will be provided with a Room Checklist to record in writing any defects, damage, or missing items in your room and address any immediate issues in your room or washroom.
Make sure to fill it out thoroughly, since it will be used during checkout to ensure that the room is in the same condition as when you moved in. Any damage not recorded on the checklist will be your financial responsibility.
Paying Fees
Having a Sponsor Pay Fees
Your sponsor should be included in the application process. When you submit your application, include a sponsorship letter from your sponsor stating that they will be financially responsible for your fees. Your Housing fees will then be invoiced directly to the sponsor.
